Immersive Recovery is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse at Immersive Recovery, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services and support to our clients on their journey to recovery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Assessment: Conduct initial health assessments for clients, including medical history, vital signs, and physical examinations.

Medication Management: Administer medications, including controlled substances, as prescribed by physicians, and ensure clients' medication needs are met.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' physical and mental health needs.

Client Education: Provide education to clients on health-related topics, including medication management, nutrition, and wellness practices.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication records, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively in the event of medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for the well-being of clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate medical care that supports their recovery.

Health and Safety: Promote a safe and healthy environment, following infection control protocols and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team, including therapists and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with a strong understanding of addiction treatment.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals on their path to recovery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.
