Job Description

As the Clinical Director at Santa Barbara Recovery, you will be the driving force behind our clinical programs, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care. You will lead a team of clinicians, therapists, and support staff in providing evidence-based, client-centered treatment to facilitate lasting recovery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

linical Leadership: Develop and execute the clinical vision and strategy, maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring the delivery of evidence-based treatments.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapists, and support staff, fostering their professional development and maintaining a positive work environment.

Clinical Assessment: Oversee the development of comprehensive client assessments and treatment plans, ensuring that interventions are tailored to individual needs.

Program Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop, implement, and enhance clinical programs and treatment modalities.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of clinical services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all clinical practices and documentation meet or exceed regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and organizations to enhance the continuum of care and promote our services.

Staff Training: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, staying current with emerging trends and treatment modalities.

Client Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for clients, ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment planning process and that they receive the highest level of care.

Qualification
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work).
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction treatment or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and client-centered care.
  • Dedication to professional development and continuous learning.
