Immersive Recovery is currently seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Intake Coordinator to join our team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking admission to our program, guiding them through the intake process and helping them take the crucial first step toward recovery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Intake: Serve as the initial contact for individuals seeking admission to Immersive Recovery, conducting intake assessments and gathering essential information.

Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the eligibility and treatment needs of potential clients, including addiction history, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders.

Client Guidance: Provide information to clients and their families about Immersive Recovery's programs, services, and admission procedures, guiding them through the process with empathy and support.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client intake assessments, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Insurance Verification: Verify insurance information and assist clients with understanding their coverage for addiction treatment services.

Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule intake appointments, assessments, and client admissions, ensuring efficient and organized processes.

Communication: Collaborate with the clinical team, therapists, and medical professionals to facilitate smooth transitions for clients entering the program.

Crisis Intervention: Provide support and crisis intervention to clients and their families, addressing immediate needs and concerns.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients' needs and best interests, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Follow-Up: Maintain contact with clients and their families to ensure a positive transition into the program and address any ongoing concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare or addiction treatment intake coordination is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to provide support to individuals and families in crisis.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
