As the Intake Coordinator at Santa Barbara Recovery, you will serve as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking treatment. Your role will be crucial in guiding clients through the admissions process, ensuring that they receive the care and support they need from the moment they inquire about our services.
Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of potential clients, collecting information about their medical, psychological, and addiction history to determine treatment needs.
Admissions Process: Guide clients through the admissions process, explaining program options, requirements, and financial considerations with clarity and empathy.
Verification of Benefits: Verify insurance coverage and benefits, and assist clients in understanding their financial responsibilities and payment options.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of client information and admissions details, adhering to all regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, connecting clients with appropriate resources.
Coordination: Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate admissions, ensuring that all necessary assessments, medical clearances, and paperwork are completed in a timely manner.
Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Client Education: Provide clients and their families with information about the treatment process, expectations, and available resources.
Scheduling: Coordinate client appointments and admissions, maintaining an organized and efficient scheduling system.
