Immersive Recovery is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Medical Director to provide expert medical guidance and leadership for our clients on their journey to recovery. As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our clients while delivering innovative and effective addiction treatment services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical oversight for all medical aspects of addiction treatment, including assessment, detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, and ongoing medical care.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring medical conditions.

Medication Management: Manage medication regimens, ensuring their appropriateness and efficacy for each client's unique needs, and make adjustments as necessary.

Medical Protocols: Develop and implement medical protocols and standards that align with best practices and regulatory requirements in addiction treatment.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for the holistic well-being of clients, ensuring that their medical and mental health needs are met and that they receive the highest quality of care.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of medical care and safety within the facility, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.

Staff Education: Provide guidance and education to staff regarding medical issues and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of addiction.

Emergency Response: Be available for medical consultations and emergency response as needed during operating hours.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in addiction medicine, participating in relevant training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in addiction medicine or psychiatry is preferred.
  • Valid medical license to practice in California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction medicine or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of addiction treatment principles, including medication-assisted treatment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of medical care and client advocacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
