As a Behavioral Health Technician at Santa Barbara Recovery, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with our clinical team to create a nurturing and therapeutic environment that promotes recovery.
Client Support: Provide continuous support and encouragement to clients during their treatment, helping them develop coping skills and self-care strategies.
Crisis Intervention: Respond promptly to client crises and emergencies, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of clients and staff.
Client Engagement: Engage clients in therapeutic activities and group sessions, facilitating their active participation in treatment.
Observation: Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and interactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Medication Management: Administer medications to clients as prescribed, adhering to all safety and documentation protocols.
Daily Living Skills: Assist clients in developing and maintaining essential life skills, including hygiene, meal planning, and time management.
Safety Procedures: Ensure a safe and secure environment, following all facility safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the clinical team, providing input on clients' progress and contributing to treatment planning.
