Job Description

Immersive Recovery is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager/Counselor to join our clinical team. As a Case Manager/Counselor at Immersive Recovery, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients through their recovery journey, providing guidance, advocacy, and therapeutic interventions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their unique treatment needs, including addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.

Individual Counseling: Provide individual counseling and therapy sessions to clients, addressing addiction-related issues, mental health concerns, and emotional well-being.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and support their recovery journey.

Case Management: Coordinate and advocate for client care, helping them access necessary resources, support services, and community referrals.

Group Therapy: Facilitate and participate in group therapy sessions, focusing on topics related to addiction recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention.

Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of emotional distress or relapse.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve positive outcomes.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the clinical team, including therapists, medical professionals, and the Clinical Director, to provide comprehensive care for clients.

Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure or certification as a substance abuse counselor or mental health counselor.
  • Experience in addiction treatment and counseling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals on their path to recovery.
  • Strong organizational and case management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
