Immersive Recovery is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead and oversee our nursing department. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services to our clients and contribute to their successful recovery journey.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership to the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to our clients.

Nursing Staff Management: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered work environment.

Patient Care: Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans for clients, addressing their physical and mental health needs.

Medication Management: Ensure the safe administration and management of medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with all applicable regulations and protocols.

Clinical Documentation: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete medical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Staff Development: Encourage the professional growth and development of nursing staff through training, supervision, and opportunities for advancement.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team, including therapists and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to clients.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively in the event of medical emergencies or crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Compliance and Licensing: Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of addiction treatment and mental health care.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and optimize nursing department operations.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
