Job Description

As the Clinical Supervisor at Santa Barbara Recovery, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, client-centered care. You will lead and mentor our team of therapists, counselors, and support staff, facilitating their professional growth and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and leadership to the treatment team, ensuring that therapeutic services align with best practices and treatment goals.

Supervision and Training: Mentor and supervise therapists and counselors, offering regular feedback, guidance, and training to enhance their clinical skills and competence.

Clinical Assessment: Oversee the development of comprehensive client assessments and treatment plans, collaborating with team members to ensure holistic care.

Individual and Group Therapy: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed, modeling effective therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Case Management: Coordinate and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of clinical care and continuously evaluate and enhance treatment protocols and interventions.

Documentation: Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and staff as needed.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and other team members to provide holistic, client-centered care.

Qualification
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work).
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction treatment or related field.
  • Strong leadership and clinical supervision skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and client-centered care.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to professional development and continuous learning.
