Job Description

Immersive Recovery is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Director to oversee our compliance programs and ensure adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards. As the Compliance Director, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest level of integrity and quality in our addiction treatment services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance Oversight: Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Policy Development: Create and update policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices, ensuring staff awareness and compliance.

Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff on compliance-related topics, including HIPAA, ethical standards, and client confidentiality.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas of potential non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.

Reporting: Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies and management, summarizing findings, and recommendations for improvement.

Investigations: Oversee and conduct investigations into compliance concerns, privacy breaches, and ethical violations, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement ongoing monitoring and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and make continuous improvements.

Ethical Standards: Promote and enforce ethical standards and professional conduct among staff, ensuring that client rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance efforts, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and laws, ensuring that the organization remains in compliance with new requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, law, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, with a strong understanding of addiction treatment regulations.
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.
