We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Compliance Director to join our esteemed team at Bayview Recovery Center. The Compliance Director will play a vital role in ensuring that our facility operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Develop, implement, and oversee the facility's compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry regulations.

Policy Development: Develop, review, and update policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure they are in compliance with current regulations and industry best practices.

Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance issues, weaknesses, or areas for improvement.

Training and Education: Provide compliance training and education to staff, ensuring that all employees understand and follow compliance-related policies and procedures.

Accreditation: Manage the accreditation process and maintain accreditation standards, ensuring continuous compliance with relevant accreditation bodies.

Reporting: Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, as required.

Investigations: Investigate and respond to compliance concerns, reports of non-compliance, and allegations of misconduct, taking appropriate corrective actions when necessary.

Data Privacy: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and safeguard client information.

Risk Management: Develop and implement a risk management program to mitigate legal and compliance risks.

Ethical Standards: Promote and maintain a culture of ethical conduct and compliance with all relevant ethical standards.

Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related role in the healthcare or addiction treatment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and accreditation standards related to addiction treatment facilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
