Job Description

Immersive Recovery is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our clinical team. As a Therapist at Immersive Recovery, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients on their journey to recovery by providing individual and group therapy sessions, addressing addiction-related issues, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Therapeutic Services: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to assess and address clients' addiction issues, mental health concerns, and co-occurring disorders.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' needs and goals.

Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, addiction history, and treatment progress.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for the well-being of clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and support.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve positive outcomes.

Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing emotional distress or relapse.

Educational Workshops: Facilitate educational workshops and psychoeducational groups on addiction recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the clinical team, including the Clinical Supervisor and Medical Director, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.

Qualification
  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or similar, in the state of California.
  • Experience in addiction treatment and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals on their path to recovery.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
