Golden Gate Recovery is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our esteemed clinical team. As a Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, client-centered addiction treatment services that facilitate healing and personal growth.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Individual Counseling: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual counseling to clients, tailoring treatment plans to address their unique needs and goals.

Group Therapy: Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a supportive and therapeutic environment that encourages open communication and collaboration among clients.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote lasting recovery and improved well-being.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients' needs and interests, assisting them in accessing necessary support services and resources.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.

Education and Support: Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed for sustained recovery.

Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to intervene and provide support in crisis situations, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely client records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.

Qualification
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Current license or certification as a therapist, such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in addiction treatment and counseling.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and addiction recovery principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in patient care.
